Certified Irrigation Designer

Don’s involvement in the irrigation industry began in Canberra in 1980 where he designed and supervised the installation of many of the National Capital’s commercial systems at that time.  

In 1987 he relocated his family to Adelaide to take-over the importation and distribution business for one of the world’s leading turf irrigation product ranges, throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory. Cameron, Hunt & Associates provided significant support to the commercial turf sector at this time including general technical support and design services. As an early adopter, Don invested in the AutoCAD design program during 1988 and honed his design skills over the following years.

Don has spent nearly four decades providing system assessments, designs, technical support and troubleshooting services to the municipal, turf racing, golf course, sports turf industries and landscape architects. Don has specialised in sports turf irrigation and has been involved with the design and implementation of many large scale irrigation projects throughout ACT, South Australia and Northern Territory.

Don is registered by Irrigation Australia Limited as a Certified Irrigation Designer.
